Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how IceTimeNow.com (“IceTimeNow,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use IceTimeNow.com (the “Service”). We collect the minimum needed to show schedules and deliver the reminders you opt into. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Account information. If you create an account, your email address and a unique user ID (via Google sign-in or an emailed one-time code).
  • Your preferences. Saved default cities, favorite rinks, sessions you choose to watch, and your email/reminder opt-ins.
  • Approximate location. We may use your IP-based approximate location to default the Service to the nearest covered metro. We do not collect precise GPS location.
  • Usage & device data. Standard log and device information (e.g., IP address, browser type) collected by our hosting and security providers to operate and protect the Service.
  • Local storage. We use browser local storage for things like dismissing the “Add to Home Screen” prompt and remembering UI preferences.

How we use information

To show you schedules, deliver the calendar and email reminders you request, remember your saved cities and favorite rinks, improve coverage and accuracy, and operate, secure, and maintain the Service. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Service providers

We share limited information with vendors that process data on our behalf, under contract and only as needed to run the Service:
  • Supabase — authentication and database (stores your account and preferences).
  • Resend — transactional and reminder email delivery.
  • Vercel — application hosting and content delivery.
We do not otherwise share your personal information except to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.

Email & messaging

Reminder and digest emails are opt-in. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe and our postal address in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act, and we honor opt-outs promptly. SMS/text messaging is not offered at this time.

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your associated account data. Aggregated, non-identifying schedule data may be retained.

Security

We use reputable providers and access controls (including database row-level security) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., California/CCPA-CPRA or the EU/UK/GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Delete my information

You can permanently remove your data yourself. Enter your email below and we’ll send a confirmation link; clicking it deletes your IceTimeNow account, saved cities, favorite rinks, reminders, email subscriptions, and any inquiries tied to that email. This cannot be undone. We email a link first so that only the owner of an inbox can request its deletion.

Children

IceTimeNow is oriented to adults and parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data accuracy & sources

Schedules are aggregated from publicly available rink pages and booking systems and refreshed periodically. Each session links back to its source. Data may not reflect last-minute changes — always verify with the rink.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes are indicated by the “Last updated” date above.
